奈达的功能对等理论与功能主义目的论两大翻译理论是在不同时期由不同流派提出的,它们之间有其相似之处及不同之处。着重分析两大翻译理论在理论基础、原文及译者地位、翻译原则及标准、文化方向、文本功能及各自优缺点六大层面上的差异性,并分析其共性,旨在使人们对两大翻译理论的理解更加透彻,同时会在不同的翻译情境下选择适当的翻译理论,以便更好地指导翻译实践。
Abstract：Eugene A. Nida's functional theory and functionalist Skopos theory are two main translation theories which were put forward by different translation schools in different period. They have some differences and similarities. This paper makes a comparative study on the two theories' differences in terms of theoretical foundation, criterion and rule for translation, culture orientation, textual function, merits and demerits, and similarities. The aim is to make us have a deep understanding of the theories and to use them appropriately in different translation contexts, letting the two theories guide us well in translation practice.
